PEWTER GOBLETS, TANKARDS, FLASKS, and CHALICES

All pewter flasks, goblets and tankards are made in England. Crafted by master craftsman who are members of ‘The Worshipful Company of Pewterers’. This group was granted a charter in 1474 by King Edward IV for the legal manufacture of pewter throughout England. Many of the ancient pewter-smithing skills are still utilized today. They only manufacture the highest quality in their collection of fine pewter drinking vessels.

We also have wooden tankards and leather mugstraps too.

Pre-Raphaelite Heavy Gauge Pewter Tankard

Pewter tankard with cornelian cabachons

If you click on the above image you can see a much larger and more detailed image. Is this a great looking tankard or what? It has a kind of ‘royalty’ look to it. This is a heavy gauge, Pre-Raphaelite styled tankard. Larger than most other pewter tankards/mugs, actually holds about 20 ounces.

Body has 6 cornelian cabachons embedded in the center band. A little over 5″ tall. The band with cabachons is not engraved but actually external to the tankard body. That means the inside of the tankard is completely smooth. Handle carries the stone design with raised polished ‘beads’. Body is highly polished.

Note that the cabachons may not be red (as pictured). Colors may vary depending on what they set into the tankard in England. Specific colors cannot be specified. If you want a specific color, email me to see what colors are in stock.
